    i dont know if this is in the right section but if it isnt then im sorry. now ill move on to my question:i need to connect my laptop(m1530) to my tv which in not HD.which cable will i need. thanks for the help!!!!

    I see that the I1530 has S-Video and HDMI ports.

    Since the TV is not HD then S-Video is probably the best route. See here for instructions.

    for a non HD TV u will need the S-video cable. m1530 has a S video port on it.
    use this port to connect to the TV. however u have to note few things

    1. your TV sometimes maynot have a Svideo in port. in that case u may need a Svideo to composite video converter cable (it maybe provided with ur laptop)

    2. there are two types of S video ports and cables, the 4 pin and the 7 pin. your laptop will be having the 7 pin options. make sure u buy a 7 pin cable
