hi - I have an ati mobility radeon hd3450 in a lenovo laptop. I want to buy a dell 3007WFP 30 inch monitor. I have hdmi and analog outputs on laptop. My question is can I drive the monitor at its native 2560x1600 resolution with my card? via hdmi? via analog? please answer.

    can, yes...

I don't think it would be capable of anything more than a basic flash game though...

i dont need it to game well - just to output at that native resolution to run basic stuff: spreadsheets / web, etc. i just want to be sure that specific card can output that resolution via hdmi.

Plug it in and change the resolution in the control panel if it dosen't output automatically.

It looks like the answer is probably No.

And I would probably say no to the analog (vga?) connector also.

You need HDMI 1.4 to get higher than 1080p via HDMI. DisplayPort is the other option if you have it.
