Can I get a list of the model #'s for intel's dual core 2 processors? I can't seem to find it anywhere on their site.

http://www.intel.com/products/processor/core2duo/specifications.htm
then click on "view laptop processors" -
-
so there's only 5?
-
Yeah right now, they've been out for less than a month, how many did you expect there to be?
-
sorry, I'm just new to the whole laptop scene and just wanna make sure I've got all my facts straight before I make a purchase. Does anybody have any idea if a faster processor then the dual core 2 2.33ghz will be coming out anytime soon?
-
2.33 core duo 2 is already like a faster 4.2ghz pentium 4, why do u need speed? Notebooks work differently than desktops and just bcuz it says 2.33 dont compare it with a desktop Pentium 4, pentium 4 are actually getting kinda slow compared to core duos.

Intel is also releasing a new Core 2 Duo T5200 entry-level CPU in October; it is not on the initial roadmap, much like the Core Duo T2050 and T2250 weren't:

i know clockspeed's dont really mean much but its still something to consider
-
The FSB and Cache are more of the things to worry about in processors these days, to be effective, this architecture doesn't need sheer clock speed, it outperforms with less than half the clock speed.
-
so in you're guys opinion, would it be better just to stick with 2.0ghz dual core and 4mb cache seeing as I won't notice the difference between this and a faster dual core 2 processor?
what is the clockspeed of the newest processor intel's supposed to drop in oct and does it have a 4mb cache? -
A 2GHz Core 2 Duo will be a very, very fast processor for a long time. It is one of the ones coming in October. They should be currently shipping the 1.83Ghz, 2MB cache Core 2 Duo's, and the rest will ship end of September/beginning of October (including the 2.16GHz which I'm waiting for, and the 2.33GHz.)
To put it in perspective, think of it like a highway. The older P4's that ran "faster" were like a highway with 2-4 lanes you could carry cargo on. Higher speed limit, but fewer lanes. The newer chips are more like an 18 lane highway with a slightly slower speed limit. You still get more throughput overall, though. -

so if I order a 2.0ghz 4mb cache dual core processor will that delay my order till october? if not how about the higher clockspeeds ones?
if neither of those are true then will a price drop occur in october?
i can wait as I can just use my really old laptop for like a month before i purchase a new one -
i orded this notebook in my sig, and i've been told it will either ship this monday or monday two weeks from now...
my guess is that SOME T7200's and higher are being shipped. also, i believe that some dell users are reporting receiving their T7200 notebooks already.
can i get a list of the model #'s for intels dual core 2 processors?
