My system is the HP Pavilion DV9500 notebook, core 2 duo t7250, 2.0ghz, 2g ram. Quanta 30cb mb v92.2e. purchased 12/22/2007. i am completely bored with this thing and would like to upgrade it. the only thing that i like about it now is the case. i would like to replace the mb and processor with one of the i7's. need to know if it is possible to install a mb with an i7 processor in this case. please help.

nope, sorry, cheaper to buy 100% new. no room for dithering or negotiation unless you are very very good at dickering deals on ebay.

    have fun

It isn't that it is cheaper. It is that the processor will not physically fit in the notebook's motherboard socket.
