    Hi,
i've bought the new Dell XPS 15 9550 with 4k screen and i'd like to link it to a 32" 4k monitor (Dell up3216q or Asus pa329q). Do you think that this laptop is powerful enough to work with such external monitor?
    My uses are :
    photo editing with photoshop
    internet/office
watching movies or sport events on sky/netflix
    No games

    thanks

Either monitor should work fine. You'll just need a USB 3 to DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort adapter to connect the computer to it.

It has this from the specs I could locate:
    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Dell-XPS-15-2016-9550-InfinityEdge-Notebook-Review.156354.0.html
From what I can find so you don't need adapter just displayport mini to display port and that should connect them.
