What is the latest BIOS date available from Dell for that unit? I do not see a problem insofar as voltages between the 90nm & 65nm. I would be concerned about heat however. What is your average cpu temp with the MK-36?

low memory module gets warm but thats it

The X2's do not generate an extravagant amount of extra heat. Extra heat yes, but I don't believe this will inhibit his ability as much as the compatibility.

Heatwise you'll should be fine up to 2ghz, it's the higher speeds that are iffy. I remember the 130nm-90nm transition often requiring a bios update. Dunno if this is the case now, S1's only been out for about a year so they may have thought of these things to begin with.

thanks and were would i find the bois updates as on the dell site it only shows them for the mk-36
can my system support th new 65nm turion x2s?
