    want to get a dell e1505 with sxga but dont want glossy screen, i know some sites do it if u send your laptop in, but is there anyway to do it urself thanks

    Im sure you can...but why? it makes the screen look so nice.

    some people prefer matte. glossy isn't for everyone and it's very hard to find a high end laptop without a glossy screen.

    To remove a glossy screen seems to be a lot of work, taking out the LCD frame cover and panel... i don't know the point of removal about it. Many users still like the glossy screen than the regular one.
