    can't get 5.1 surround sound

    My motherbaord has 4 jacks for front, rear, ctr/sub and side speakers. I installed the driver in vista but when I checked the balance it only had stereo and I can't hear anything other than stereo. Can anyone help me?

    Try setting your speaker option in the sound properties to 5.1.
