hello everybody ive been reading post from this site for a long time and now instead of reading, i am writing one about a problem im having

i have a 2gb mem pavillion dv6000 with intel t5500 (1.66GHz) core duo bluetooth, wifi, webcam and a failed graphics card (go 7400) ive called hp tech support and to repair it cost between $300 - $350 which is a bit ridiculous

the g-card is lousy anyways and ive heard talks of the GeForce 8400M GS being a much superior card

ive found that the dv6500 - dv6700 motherboards are equiped with this

can i use this motherboard instead of using over a dv6000 board??

or what do u guys suggest

(is it at all possible to get core 2 duo boards in the equation?)
