This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    do i leave my charger in even when laptop is off and done charging? cuz it seems to be pretty hot. is that normal?

    The power brick is very well know to get HOT.So no problem with that.
    When you leave the adapter connected when the laptop is off and done charging, the adapter will consume very little power [mainly to keep that green light on], and I don't think you need to worry, they generally are extremely durable.

    I wouldnt call it very little power. Some use alot of power! If its not too much trouble unplug it.
