which is easier to use for touch typing? pluses and minuses for typists? is one style of keyboard disadvantaged during prolonged use?

which do you prefer for typing, however you type.

They say that scissor keyboards are way better...chiclets seem to be rather unresponsive.

I like the spacing on chiclet keyboards (each key feels more individual) but it takes a lot of getting used to. I don't like how it has a spongy/soft tactile feedback. I also don't like how most chiclet keyboards have flat faced keys.

I like how crisp it feels to type on a scissor switch. I don't like how tall the keys usually are.

You'll get used to whichever one you have. I don't really mind either.
