I am having a problem where my time keeps resetting and from viewing other post/forums think it may be a loose CMOS battery. Can anyone tell me the location of it for an Extensa 4420-5963? Thanks.

Same problem, hope it's not around the harddrive, a real bear to remove/replace the cover plate. Whoever finds out first let's share. Mine keeps losing my bios setting and defaulting, and then not wanting to reboot/start.

Your COMOS battery might be over too.. especially if your laptops old.. its usually on the motherboard and its big round and silvery..be careful in removing it... if u break the wires.. bye bye laptop..
