Hi, I have a Compaq v6402ca that I just swaped in a C2D T7200 and was looking for, well a motherboard with a GPU on it. The only one I can find so far that I don't need a socket P CPU is one with a Go7400 GPU.
Would it be worth the $200 to upgrade, has anyone done this or something like this?

Is this a motherboard from the same laptop model? What's your current GPU?

I know for a fact its the same motherboard as a dv6000. The only thing that im not sure about is the heatsink. You will need a new one or need to remove the graphics card heatsink part and add it your compaq one. You will also need a 90 watt daughter board for more power and a new charger.

I should beable to find all the stuff on ebay. I found the heat sink and motherboard just got to look up the other parts. Going to take time for me to save the money up to get it all.
