    Your turion x2 takes ddr2 memory, so no need for confusion.

    oh because in this other thread I read that

    Intel Core 2 Duo only takes DDR 2 Ram

    while AMD Turion 64 X2 takes DDR Ram

    thats what made me confused

    That is mistaken. All Turions are DDR2.

    Yeah, it's the Turion 64's and (earlier) Athlon 64 X2 that take DDR. They switched in early 2006.
