    ello all! well i have a question for he well informed.

    would upgrading my current laptop with a TL-64 2.2ghz and a 4gb ram kit up my graphics card performance? i hope so... cause its in the mail!!!

    current specs.

    acer aspire 5110
    TL-50 1.6ghz
    2 gb ram
    mobility radeon X1600

    It will allow for more headroom in gaming. The faster processor would be able to allow your X1600 to run at its full performance without being bottlenecked from the processo. The ram upgrade will help in gaming, and if your graphics card uses hypermemory, than you will have better gaming performance.

    cool, thats primarily what i use the laptop for... and to be honest at its current state the thing rocks!!! i am constantly suprised at the performance. for instance right now i am playing crysis on mostly medium settings and using fraps i average about 20fps which is smooth :) as for any other game out like soase it runs gr8... now the 2 week wait starts for the mail to get to my camp...in IRAQ :(
