    Hello,

After upgrade Toshiba Satellite A110-253 with Celeron 410 to Core Duo T2050 witch 533MHz as well.. I have much CRC errors when extracting files.. Its occurs with rars, zips and windows cabs.. Even when I install OS setup shows errors that file not found..
After OS install, I have very often shockwave errors and browser errors...
BIOS (1.7) detected my cpu ok but I think that it isn't fully support that Core Duo. XPress 200 onboard should handle Core Duo..

Could you help me..? Pentum M is the strongest cpu for my Tochiba?

    Best regards
    Milo

As far as i can tell , this is strange... really not heard of such a case but i would try pentium M first... if its supported... my guess is X200 can't take it although its working... as far your symptons go , looks like dieing hard drive to me... seriously , i can't suggest anything.. get a pentium M and try it.. if it doesn't work , only $15-20... if that doesn't work , your hard drives dieing for sure...
