I recently bought a dell inspiron 1525 dual core 2.1ghz 4gb ram intel gma 4500HD laptop. the problem is the fsb speed is only 667mhz. I didn't buy this from dell. But the difference between this and inspiron dell laptops on dell's website is that this is dual core 2.1 and all other inspiron dells are dual core 2.0Gghz at this price.
I have 1 or 2 more days left to return this, should I return it and save and get a better laptop or this is the best I could get at reduced prices?

The 1525 is technically last generation, but since you didn't specify what you're comparing the unit to, or the prices of the laptops you're comparing, it's very hard to give you an answer.

There's nothing wrong with 667MHz FSB.
Ask yourself, does this laptop do what I want it to do? If so, keep it. -
It is all right. I just installed windows 7 on another partition. Works fine(graphics card could have been better). But again I am not hardcore gamer. I bought this for $599CDN. And just considering my options to whether keep it or return since the only flaw I see in it is fsb speed right now. Would have been ok if it was at least 800mhz.

There's very little difference between 667 and 800 MHz FSB.
-
I wouldn't know but 667mhz is the slowest speed and I see it as a flaw compared to other specs of this laptop.

It's far from the slowest component in your computer so don't worry, it's not a flaw and won't hold back your system. The lowest speed is actually 5400RPM or 7200RPM from your hard drive.
dell inspiron - slow fsb speed
