I'm confused- i have seen some reputable dell battery sellers claiming that the battery from the inspiron 630m is compatible with the 640m. Yet dell's website has the two batteries with different part numbers! I know this is common practice and that these batteries are often identical, but I need to know for sure before I buy!

I need to get another battery soon, and the BIG problem is dell has a 2-week wait for a battery to be shipped and ebay has few listings for the 640m battery. Does anyone know if I can use the 630 series battery in my 640m? they seem to be the same design, same size, and everything!

    Any help would be appreciated!
