I was considering upgrading from the 340 to the 390. I'm not sure if this will work since the voltages are different. Does anyone know if this upgrade with work?

The upgrade will work, but why bother upgrading to another celeron M.
Their are chances that you can upgrade to a much faster core duo or core 2 duo processor.

    What laptop do you have?
