    Hi

Im thinking of buying this Clevo P950hr (Sager NP8950)

I understand it uses Optimus. Ive heard also that Optimus doesnt work with VR so like to turn that off.

Is it possible to disable Optimus in bios?

The HDMI port is connected to the dGPU and works with VR.

Ive hear optimus made it not working any good. Low frame rate etc cause Nvidia GPU runs through the Intel GPU to the external display ports?

I am not sure about that particular model, since I don't have one, but I do believe the HDMI port is connected to the dGPU and doesn't go through the intel iGPU. Display port might be another matter. Hopefully, somebody with experience with the P950 can help more.
