Im upgrading to a different graphics card,

I applied all the thermal pads in the correct configuration and correct thickness, but when i attach the card to the heatsink,

some parts have about ~.1mm gaps in between the components and the thermal pads.

Im wondering if this is a problem that i need to solve? or will it resolve itself by expanding a bit from the heat

Simply due to basic physics, it will expand. By how much, I'm not sure.
