Whenever I have my laptop at home, I will want to use my larger permanent screen on my desk rather than my laptop screen. I would use that as my main space for when I am not on the go. I know there are docking stations out there, but I have not seen one for the dell vostro.

First, does anyone know of one I can buy?

Second, is there a way to plug in normally a keyboard and mouse and monitor without buying a docking station?

Any insight here would be great.

USB hub, keep keyboard, mouse and printer plugged into hub. So you only have to plug in one USB cable and the monitor plug, 2 plugs total not so bad?

Best Buy I guess $10 $20 but also if you don't mind pluging in a couple more USB you don't even need, USB is why harder to find docking stations.

You don't even need a hub if you will just plug the USB's into your lappie.

Yeah you will need a USB mouse/keyboard. They just plug into the back of the laptop along with the VGA monitor. The only reason you would need a hub is if you didn't want to plug each USB device in individually you would just plug the hub in with everything connected to it.

EDIT: If you happened to get the bluetooth from dell all you would need is to get a bluetooth keyboard/mouse and you wouldn't have any wires to plug in aside from the monitor.
