    i'm looking into buying the compaq 8510p and was wondering if there was a noticeable difference between Core™ 2 Duo 2.2 GHz and Core™ 2 Duo 2.4 GHz

    back in the single core 512mb cache days it was a huge difference but now there is no "real world" noticeable difference.. go with the 2.2

    Both cache sizes are the same, so get the 2.2 IMO
