does anyone know of a product for touch screens that's like a wearable/mountable stylus tip?

i figured i could post this here now that there are touchscreen laptops!! not that i have one, nor would i use it outdoors in the winter if i did BUT..... i think most people who have used touchscreen gloves know that they're pretty much barely usable, and not very warm either. i mean, i guess they might work for some people with bigger screens but on my 4.3" screen (even with a half qwerty AKA T+ keyboard) its just a pain. and yeah i guess unlike many people i do actually walk around outside even when it gets down to single digits (fahrenheit)

so i'm wondering if anyone has seen a product thats just a small rubber tip like on a stylus that just loops around your thumb like a ring, OR something with peel off adhesive or even just some extra material so it could be sewn into a pair of gloves. frankly i'm surprised that touchscreen gloves aren't made this way already, as it could be even more accurate than the naked thumb.

i realize i could make something fairly easily but, anyone seen something? the only thing i found still doesn't look very accurate and is almost 20$ Suretouch Pink Touch Screen Display Ring for Cold Gloves Weather | eBay

of course, right after typing this i gave it some more though and dug some of these out of a drawer:

they work well! at least, the finished cap does..... it seems there needs to be a significant mass of metal for it to work. i tried the smaller piece of the rivet and it didn't work. but the rounded finished end works flawlessly, and i think because its rounded its still very accurate.

the only problem is that theyre not really meant for fabric.... it wouldnt be very secure and might work its way through a hole. though i suppose with a lot of knit stuff you wouldn't need to cut a hole. my next thought was to try snaps of course.... i tried several pairs of jeans but none of them worked. not enough metal i guess..... but, there are definitely tons of different snaps out there, some with a rounded finished side which would work just like the rivet and attach to fabric much better..... like this (on the left) :

so anyway, this has been my little crafty tech DIY invention of the evening..... thanks for watching lol...... if anyones interested, i will post a "finished product" later tonight if i get around to it.

EDIT: *~startling revelation!!~* the rivets aren't made out of the correct material (aluminum?) as i had assumed, they seem to be conducting the capacitance of my finger..... (didn't work with fabric over my fingers) hmm.
