the title says it all

no it just helps out if youre running a virtual machine within the OS like Virtual PC or VMware
-
no it only effects things when overclocking the CPU, and seeing its a notebook or so I assume, then no it does nothing.

uhh it has nothing to do with overclocking. its a virtual machine feature.
-
I never said it has anything to do with it, I said it inhibits overclocking. Go check out any OCing forum, they say the same as well as my first hand experience. Gains on desktop chips with it off is over 400 mhz. Its part of the architecture of the chip. Shutting off any unused part of the chip helps to overclock. Why do you think people disable one core of the a dual core chip to see how high each core can go? Mainly because Without that heat each core can go higher.

oh... i guess thats true of any feature you could shut off on a cpu. i thought you meant it was purposefully related (by design) to over clocking in some way, which it is not.

ooh ill keep the VT disabled xD

No........
does intel virtualization afects performance when enabled?
