    can someone tell me please if I can downgrade my processor T8100 to T5500
    because T8100 mobile processor it very expensive. I have HP6710b laptop without processor.

    The T5500 comes in both Socket P and Socket M, so make sure you have/get the Socket P version.

    You'll be looking for the T5450, if you wanna get a T5500-equivalent. T5500 is Socket M only, and is not pin-compatible with your motherboard.

    Search for the "Intel Mobile Processor Compatibility Guide".
