    Alright I've been doing alot of video encoding lately on my 2.5ghz dual core alienware m15x how much faster would the new quad core cpu that alienware puts in the m17 handle encoding? Cause right now- slow.

    If the encoder supports 4 threads (which it should), the QC will be better for encoding. (Almost 1.5x faster)
