I'm not really sure but i think it'll be equal to a 1.66 or it'll be slighty less but i'm sure a 1.83 is faster.

In some tests, a core duo 1.66 T2300 would be about the power of a P4 3.8ghz, perhaps faster. The core duo CPU's are much more efficient, and really quite powerful.

It can be seen from the table that the 2.0GHz Pentium M is equivalent to the 3.2GHz Pentium 4.

The 1.66GHz Core Duo is comparable to a 4.0GHz Pentium 4, which I highly doubt.

A 1.66 Ghz Core Duo will be about a P4 3.4 Ghz. At multitasking however, the core duo will probably equal a 3.8 Ghz P4. The core duo is alos more energy efficient and better overall.
