    on default are both processors active?
    i have centrino duo.

    Yes, both cores on the processor will run, no need to worry.

    If you open up the task manager Ctrl+Alt+Delete, you can see two graphs, one is for each core.

    It was originally targeted for owners of Sager notebooks, but it deals with the potential inability of WinXP to fully utilize the potential of ALL dual core processor equipped computers.
