    dv9548us LCD problem aft processor upgrade

    Just upgraded my processor to t9300 in my dv9548us hp laptop.We disassembled everything added the new processor and assembled everything.Now the LCD is not working to be precise the screen shows a very very dull display. I can see bios but very very dull.I suspect this could be lid switch problem.How do i fix this and now iam trying to test with external monitor but iam not getting output in external monitor.How do I transfer display to external monitor any function keys..Pls help me I am frustrated as i am now out of warranty.

    There should be a combination (you will have to look on your keyboard) It should be FN (function key) and one of the f* buttons, look for something that says lcd and maybe has a picture of a monitor on it. Just try them all, if it turns of the lcd, re-use the key combination.
