    hi,
    i have samsung R522 laptop.
it had 320 gb hitachi hdd. i also have 320 gb seagate 7200.3 which i use it by usb port. a week ago i bought intel 80 GB x25-M SSD and an e-sata enclosure to use e-sata external port of my laptop.

Before putting intel x25-M ssd into the laptop , i want to see if the e-sata enclosure works. first i tried with 320gb seagate 2.5' and in 5 or 10 minutes i made it work.then i tried with intel x25-M ssd by enclosure and it just worked fine.

then i put intel x25-m into the laptop and i install new operating system on intel x25-M .then i installed every driver.
But now my laptop does not recognize 320gb seagate or 320gb hitachi by e-sata enclosure. just for 320 seagate hdd it gives me a message like that

and also just for a minute i can see it in device manager like that , but then gone.

and an interesting thing is that matrix storage manager recognizes the Seagate HDD with the message which i posted above and a minute later it shows that it is disconnected.this happens all the time when i try to connect the Seagate HDD. i am sure that no problem with a cable exists since it worked before and it is brand-new.

but the things happen with seagate HDD do not happen with Hitachi HDD.
laptop does not say anything when i connect hitachi hdd by enclosure. it does not work totally

any idea how to solve it?

    thanks

Did you powered on the the sata disk before computer? sometimes sata is picky about that. I have one too and if i connect them with computer on sometimes it doesn't start.
