Looks as if they're two different sizes. I don't think that duo core processor will fit in your notebook. I would try calling intel to confirm.

 

What would happen if i tryed fitting it ? would i destroy my motherboard

 

If they're different sizes, it won't fit.

 

Hm that's interesting. If your mainboard is a 945, then up to Merom Core 2 Duos SHOULD work - I'm not sure why the chips are two different sizes.

 

CPU-Z comes up with this says socket 479 mPGA is this the right socket for the T2350 ? image of cpu-z >>>

You definitely have a Socket M machine, but it's kind of ambiguous what chipset you have...

If you have the 940GML, you can basically only upgrade to any of these processors:

which CPU did you end up putting in? I think your board supports up to the Core 2 Duo T7600 2.33ghz 4mb L2.
