I'm wondering how well the two would work together since they both cache files.
I'm upgrading to 8GB of RAM + Seagate momentus so I could easily have a large RAMCache using eBoostr.
Because I don't really know the mechanics of eboostr or the seagate momentus I'm not sure if it would be a waste or detrimental or what.
Does anyone with a seagate momentus xt have any experience with it?

Only by trying it for your specific scenario would give you this answer.
I say (guess) it will work good.
Nothing to lose except your time by trying. -
And when you will try this to your spec... crap! so many words! Well when you will DO THAT tell us how it is. Be a pioneer

Wow. This is interesting.

I just got a Seagate Momentus XT today... I'll be able to use it around Tuesday. I'll report back. FYI I'll only be using a RAM cache since I think that a USB might actually hurt performance with the XT...
I have 4GB of RAM... but I'm upgrading to 8GB soon.
eBoostr + Seagate Momentus XT?
