Ok,
recently my home was broken in to and some thins were stolen, one being my eMachines laptop. They ended up catching the person and I got my property back, but my laptop now had a hdd password and a BIOS password. I took the hard drive out of my toshiba laptop and put it in the emachines, worked perfect, it wants to boot into windows but it goes black at the windows loading screen and restarts. I've tried taking the battery out, the master passwords, etc with no luck. I want to jump the Clear CMOS but I can't find it! Can anyone help? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure, but I don't think that anyone is allowed to help with getting past the passwords here.

Yeah, I see that now, "Discussion of cracking passwords or bypassing security measures."
Sorry.
It just really sucks when the systems put in place to protect the customer actually end up costing the customer alot more money.. :/ -
Yes this is against the forum rules so thread is now closed.
