Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I have an eSata external HD and am looking to upgrade to a laptop. None of the laptops I've looked at have native eSata connections. Does anyone make one that does or will I have to use up my expresscard slot? Thanks.

As far as I know, yes, you'll need an ExpressCard adapter. There's some discussion on this here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=94329&highlight=eSata

Yeah I read that post earlier, or some of it anyway. I guess I shoulda thought it out more before going for the eSATA HD, but I wasn't planning on getting a laptop this soon. Thanks for the reply.
