i have bought a dual esata expresscard 34, si3132, made by apiotek to go into my acer 5920 running xp. when i plug the card in it says 'raid controller' and tries to load the driver for it. i have let it load these drivers once but i needed a system restore to remove them (plus i dont want raid).
apparently through searching through guides i need the 'satalink controller' to load when i insert the card (which it doesnt do). i have the driver cd with the card but updating the raid controller with the sata driver prompts a message saying this will not work.
ive been to silicon image website and downloaded the driver for the chipset but they do the same as above.
is the card faulty or do i need to update my bios or change anything to get it to work?
