The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    extended resolutions ?

    just wanted to know if there were any programs or tweaks out there to get extended resolutons on notebooks. i'm on a 15.4' widescreen and max resolution of 1280x800. besides the omega drivers.

    If your talking about normal desktop work (ie: not games) then use powerstrip (google it). It's not free but very useful. Probably other programs that can do the same or is cheaper but thats what I use.

    hmmm i don't think this program is what i'm looking for, doesn't say anything about be able to unlock or tweaking resolutions, but thanks for the post
