Hey all i was wondering about the possibility of an external sound card for my new lappy. Im getting the dv9000t soon and i want to play oblivion on it. A concern of mine is that the laptop has onboard sound, which is usually standard.

Im curious to know if there are any express card format soundcards which would boost my performance for the game, and generally make the sound better.

Or if it would even help at all.

Any suggestions or ideas would be great!

    Thanks in advance!

At the moment there are no express card sound cards :/ Sound Blaster is supposed to release the X-Fi someday....hopefully with Santa Rosa but there's been no press releases..

The only option is a USB external sound card.
