    Have you looked at anyplace yet? It is good to do some of your own research before posting a thread like this. Check some computer stores (Newegg, ZipZoomFly), also try a google search, etc.

    I think the biggest is 60GB. They all spin at 4200RPM.

    yah thats all i found was 4200rpm.. any1 know of anything coming out that would be 7200rpm and larger then 60g

    No and no, it's not possible with current technology. If it were, you'd see notebooks almost all immediately migrate to the 1.8".

    I haven't even seen a 5400rpm 1.8" HDD let alone a 7200rpm. When such a drive exist, I guess we will really have ultra-ultra portable notebooks.

    Besides the techical aspect of building a 7200rpm 1.8" HDD, I wonder if heat dissipation will be a problem in such a small package.

    5400 rpm for 1.8" doesn't even exist in current technology, and 7200 rpm is just a dream. Heat for sure will be a problem thats why no one making 5400rpm version yet. SAS will have 10Krpm version in 2.5" form.
