    After switching on my laptop this strange info about some file and status 1024 appears. This happend before with my old hd but hasn't change after i bought new 1. Wanted to install os but looks like its not gonna happen. Anybody has a clue what to do?

    Did you try booting from the CD drive? You should just press the select boot menu button on start and chose CD and reinstall windows. :confused:
