I got my first blue screen of death on this thing and I'm wondering why. The error said

    Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    BATTC.SYS Adress BACC0A20 base at BACC0000
    Date Stamp 3b7d8550

ANyone know what's up with that?

I think that means that some hardware drivers are outdated.

    sup Dimmu,

LOL. I've gotten many BSOD on my notebook, its natural when if hardware is incompatible with whatever software that you might have added... or memory has errors (due to damage or even just dust).... or, in some case, stability issue with some overclocking.

I've had them all. :) You just dont get bent out of shape about it, you should isolate and troubleshoot the problem(s).

Tell me what you recently have or have not done to get this BSOD, and i'll try to advise you.

    Hey Gophn,

I'm not gettin bent out of shape or anything. I was just asking. Only thing new I did was install a new faxer/scan/copy/printer. But that a few days before the bluescreen so...

Could mean almost anything. If you're overclocking, I'd take this as a hint to lower clock speeds a bit. Update all drivers, see if that helps. Might also just be bad hardware. See if it happens again, and if it does, try removing your new printer and see if it *still* happens.

Just out of curiosity; What type of AIO did you install? I've had users that have installed software provided by HP and it has caused BSOD's, sometimes after several days of useage. Once they remove the software everything returns to normal.

    Just a thought.
