Sadly DockPort seems to have disappeared as did the top of the line Mullins A10 Micro-6700T. Last time DockPort made a public appearance was over a year ago at CES 2014 with AMD's amazing Mullins A10 Micro-6700T based Nano PC prototype. We never did see anything happen with this wonderful reference design, none of the OEMs even bothered with it and even over a year later today we still cannot buy a Mullins based A10 Micro-6700T PC! Its a shame.

But that's all about to change though with the soon-to-be released fanless "fit-PC fitlet" Mullins based micro/mini PCs. Best of all, the A10 Micro-6700T is in the lineup! This is about as close as we get to that AMD reference prototype and the top of the line Mullins A10 Micro-6700T. Kinda sad but regardless exciting at the same time! Its missing DockPort but at least its rocking the Mullins lineup top to bottom. Completely silent and fanless, HTPC, custom firewall/router, Windows 7/8.1/10, Linux Mint, embedded OS, GPIO, 5 year warranty and more!

That's the one I was eyeing. I wouldn't mind dabbling in some customer router stuff as I'll be take a Network+ class soon so the fitlet X was also of interest to me. I primarily want that darn A10 Micro-6700T. fit-PC did state that they are working on bring accessories like the FACET LAN card if you buy the fitlet I for example.

Lol... you say overpriced, I say worth it for the money. :)

What are some other contenders at comparable performance, industrial grade level and power usage?
