    geforce go 6600 overclock?

    hi guys i have a toshiba m40 and as most of the ppl already know it has a geforce go 6600 on it, but toshiba has a reputation for underclocking the cards and i was wondering if anyone knows how i can overclock it? and has anyone tried playing bf2 on it? i loaded it on my laptop and it started up and then just crashed.maybe some1 else has had better luck.

    Well, overclocking is not recommended, but I'll tell you how to do it. ;)

    Go download PowerStrip - it is a nice simple overclocking utility. I use it to overclock my Radeon X700.

    Also, it's nice because you can have different profiles, and it's really easy to switch between them.

    Well, personally i have overclocked my desktop and my notebook before, but i don't see much difference in the performance... maybe 10-30 more points in 3dmark, but no significant difference when playing games.

    Yeah, agreed, not much of a 3dmark increase.

    Actually, I overclocked my X700 from 358/330 to 371/350 and I saw a signifigant increase in performance - such as, in Counter Strike Source, I could enable 16X AF whereas on stock only 2 or 4X...also I could also bump up the Specular.

    I think I didnt see an increase in 3Dmark because I only have 64MB of DDR VRAM.... :(
