l have a 19" lcd mon with 1440x900 resolution, it has no problem connected to my n270 netbook, but l plan to replace it with a n450 one, l heard those gma3150 gpu has only a max resolution of 1400x1050, can it still support my 19" mon?

The official specs here list 1400x1050 as the maximum resolution, so that's no help.
Why are you bothering with the upgrade, anyway? I haven't seen anything that suggests the second-gen Atom netbooks are worth it if you've got a first-gen.

so u mean 1440x900 is a higher resolution than 1400x1050?

He's implying that it most likely won't work. It doesn't matter whether 1400 multiplied by 1050 is a higher number of that than 1440 x 900, but it will most likely still not work. The horizontal resolution of your monitor is more than the horizontal maximum spec of the GMA 3150, so it will most likely not work, or not display properly, even if the vertical resolution is lower. It's maximum for the x axis is 1400, your monitor's x axis is 1440. It may actually display, but will probably be scaled down.

If I were you, I'd probably squeeze a little more money in there and go for a ULV laptop like the Acer Timeline 1410 or 1810, which have the 4500MHD.
