    i want 2 get info. whether ati mobility radeon x300 is upgradeable to any other graphic card. i own dell latitude d160 notebook. in it, it is installed.
    i want to play high perfomance games like call of duty 4 modern warfare and da lik. can i install ne other better graphic card in my notebook. if not then can gamecard b installed in my notebook and perform da requested operation.
    really looking forward 4 ur ans.

    Basically, only 1-2% of laptops can have their GPU upgraded and the Latitude d160 is not on that list. Also, the X300 is integrated I believe so it's probably soldered onto the motherboard so it probably cannot be changed anyways.

    Your best bet is to try those new "external GPUs" thing, but idk how those perform :confused:

    The ATi radeon X300 is a chipset soldered to the motherboard. Therefore the X300 is not removable, or upgradeable.
    The external graphics soluton is an option, but not for you. I am almost 100% sure your laptop does not have an expresscard slot.

    Youre best bet is to save up for a new laptop. For $500-700 you can get a much more powerful machine, with a decent graphics card.
