i just bought a dell inspiron 6000 with the ati x300 graphics card and just saw an ad at best buy for the ati x7oo for sale for $129. can i change out the graphics card and will it fit? is it something i can do myself or should i have some one do it? lastly is $129 a good buy and should i get the pci express or the non pci express? forgive my ignorance but i'm new to the pc world.

The card you saw advertised at Best Buy is for desktops...not laptops. It's physical size is probably 1/4th of the entire laptop.

No idea if the Dell 6000 has upgradeable graphics...I'd guess not. Ask in the Dell section to be sure. If so...you'll probably have to buy a solution from Dell directly, as they don't seem to support any of the recent laptop interfaces for GPU's, in their standard configurations(i.e. their own customized MXM interfaces).
