    hard drive and ram upgrade

    i have a old hp ze5170 with 2.0 p4 512 ram and a 40 4200rpm harddrive. i was thinking about maxing out the ram at 1 gb and installing a 80g 7200 rpm harddrive. i have never done anything to my computer befor and i don't knwo who difficult these upgrades will be or if the 7200rpm drive will produce to much head?

    those are the 2 easiest things to switch out. i think the 7200 drive produces a little more heat...but not much to worry about

    My own laptop is very cheap and using AMD Sempron 2600 with 256MB + 512MB DDR333. I upgraded a 80GB 7200rpm HD. It is not very hot i expected. Even my CPU is a low-end model, it is fast enough to access my data, typing, pictures and Internet.
