    hey guys i am a total noob when it comes to computers...i own a acer 4720z laptop and want to upgrade hard drive to 320gb what is the exact hard drive i will need?
    thanks

    also any recommendations on a certain brand or type that works well and fast.

    it's also really easy to upgrade as well as easy as upgrading the memory, except you will need a screwdriver

    Memory you need a screw driver too. At least on some laptops. :)

    not any of the laptops i've opened up, you need a screw to open the laptop though, maybe it varies

    also what are the advanteges of a 7200 rpm

    Yes, any SATA 2.5" will work. (except velociraptor)


    Uh, well, isn't that obvious :) 7200rpm = faster
