so i went off to take a shower, and when i came back, even though my computer hadn't been messed with for awhile, the hard drive light was on, and i could hear my hd clicking. in fact, the hard drive light hasn't turned off since i've gotten back. there are no background software running.....is a sign of hd impending hard drive failure?

    edit: it stopped.....

Indexing service. It indexs the contents of your harddrive while idle, for supposed increased search performance.
