    Hi.

I am having a problem with tablets, cell phones and digital camera`s when connected to my tablet/notebook keep on disconnecting and re-connecting, it can happen every 2 seconds or after 5 mins, my usb 3.0 external hdd works fine as well as my usb joypad.

I am on stock drivers on my "HP Envy Rove 20-k000ea"

It can happen when i am copying video`s mid stream to my tablet/phone it will suddenly disconnect and i have to start again.

anybody know what the problem is, it`s doing my head in.

    Thanks

    John.

maybe a silly question, but are they (i.e. tablets, cell phones, digital cameras) going into a standby mode/low power state or something? can't conceive of why some peripherals would work without issue while others do not.

    Hi.

I though of that they don't seem to be, i just connected my tablet, it was not even detected, i have to switch back and forth between connection modes to get it to be recognized.

The USB 3.0 is just very flakey.
